With over 11,500 employees, the organisation ensures aircraft safety and reliability for millions of passengers each year. ### The challenge Working in aircraft maintenance presents significant physical demands. Employees are required to walk long distances, climb, kneel and work in confined spaces throughout extended shifts. This places continuous strain on the feet, legs and lower back, making both protection and comfort essential. Turkish Technic required a footwear solution that could: - **Provide reliable, certified protection** - **Reduce fatigue during long working days** - **Support natural movement across varied tasks** - **Align with sustainability goals** ![Supporting Turkish Technic](https://d3rbxgeqn1ye9j.cloudfront.net/images/MTZGFCk2COrz6r0rSq68o-OY5OKzh81yllcNlemiZIQ/w:345/h:194/fn:Y3NtXzEwODAtdHVya2lzaC10ZWNobmljXzFiYzYwODJkZWY:t/cb:cef7568fe0d6072df9683d08430520470a997115/el:1/fq:jpeg:85:avif:70:webp:80/aHR0cHM6Ly9kM3JieGdlcW4xeWU5ai5jbG91ZGZyb250Lm5ldC9maWxlYWRtaW4vd3d3LnV2ZXgtc2FmZXR5LmNvLnVrL01lZGlhL2Nhc2Utc3R1ZHkvMTA4MC10dXJraXNoLXRlY2huaWMuanBnPzE3ODExNzI2ODI "Supporting Turkish Technic") ### The solution To meet these requirements, Turkish Technic partnered with uvex to introduce the [**uvex 1 x-tended support**](https://www.uvex-safety.co.uk/en/products/safety-footwear/uvex-1-x-tended-support-shoe-s3l-fo-sr-85162/) safety footwear.
