Three variable ventilation zones of the safety helmet can be opened or closed as you wish. There are now also particularly environmentally friendly variants of the uvex pheos safety helmet: The blue variant helmet shell is made of high-quality bioplastic, which is based on renewable raw materials. The bioplastic version of the uvex pheos safety helmet also meets all requirements in accordance with DIN EN 397. Its low weight and variable suspension harness ensure the greatest comfort even when worn for long periods.

The advantages of bioplastic
Worldwide, over 230 million tonnes of plastic are produced per year. An environmentally friendly alternative: bioplastic. It is created on the basis of renewable raw materials, such as those in the castor oil plant, for example. The natural raw materials are initially processed into biopolymers, from which the bioplastic is manufactured. Today, bioplastics offer a variety of technological properties.
